If you are comparing the two, why didn't the US step in back in 91 or for that matter 15 or 20 years ago? What's the big difference? OIL. Who is paying for this? You are. Who gains? The Oil Companies. The gas at the pumps will never be cheap enough for you to re-coupe. Your comparison is like me calling the cops on the guy next door 10 years later,and saying I thought he had a large supply of weapons stashed in his basement and after his wife and kids are in the hospital. During that 10 years I have been taking the milk off their door step to further the downfall of his wife and kids. So now that I have called the cops, he is charged and going to jail and has to sell his house on the cheap. The house I wanted to buy(the only reason I called the cops)for peanuts. So now that I own the house, I rent it back to his wife and kids who are on welfare. And now I'm the supposed good guy on the block. PS: The guy next door had been threatening another guy(an in-law) on the block and he told me do something about it or there would be trouble in the family(my wife would cut me off). How do you juggle morality and timing?
