you are the one who quite ignorantly made the assertion that the bush admin was considering "sending in missionaries" to iraq.

our country doesn't "send" missionaries....

any missionaries that enter iraq will do so on their own and at their own expense

oh and excuse me if i don't take my "cue" from the "globeandmail" ......there is real news out there today....people are being liberated.

priorities and all that, you know?

My point is that it is a stupid idea to send Christian missionaries in AT THIS TIME.
If Bush administration has the sense their God promised a door knob, they should wait a year or so before sending in Christian missionaries. Priorities and all that, you know. Like installing democracy, fighting terrorism, assuring people you are not there for emperialist ambitions or (God forbid!) for a crusade.
