I, for one, would have thought that it was a prudent move as the people in the plane were going to die anyway and it would have saved lives on the ground. Although, I do agree with you that it is a no-win situation. But, that's life. My main concern is the fact that we couldn't defend our nation's capitol properly after spending so much money on "defense". I think 9/11 demonstrated that our priorities are kind of screwed up. We have military people all over the world in all sorts of countries for all sorts of reasons, but we can't even defend our own country properly. Something stinks!
