1. Blix is german and represents UN weapons inspectors and says there are no weapons.

Blix has never said there are no WMD in Iraq, just that he had been unable to locate any. His primary contention was that he wanted more time, always more time, for inspections. All that would have accomplished is to allow Saddam to continue his elaborate shell game.
