We need to uncover these wmd's soon in order for that argument to stand. Then and only then will I agree with that point of view.

If that's your worry, rest easy - we will find them in droves, we already are! Did you see what the Marines found in the caverns at Al Tuwaitha?

The carpers will just ignore the wmds - drop the whole wmd argument like it never existed - and claim that we must now hand the sovereignty of Iraq over to the UN to gain "legitimacy". I don't think they're going to get too far with this argument, but it will be amusing to see them try.

Thank God we haven't see them used in this conflict.

Amen to that. My real fear for this war was that Saddam was going to try to destroy Iraq out of spite, but it seems that we were successful in preventing him from doing so. Yay Special Forces!
