Doesn't matter if he is/was an idiot or if they lost money on other investments, the overall fact remains pension funds still will not invest in gold stocks.

Likewise, if memory serve me, gold mutual funds have only $3.5 billion under management, which is almost nil relative to the industry. You may not like that fact, but you must accept reality grasshopper. We are in the desert of investing nowhere near the forest.

Gold stocks remain somewhere between a offbeat niche investment (always speculations, IMHO) and a refuge for outright lunatics, conspiracy theorists, self-promoters, and folks off their medication.
