Bush was not AWOL, that is internet hype. And the unintelligent / liberally educated have latched onto it like a 2 pound bass latches onto a lure.

How about the undisputed fact that he had to serve out an extra year tacked on to his enlistment period (in a 'paper division') to make up fo the service time lost when he was AWOL from his assigned unit?
