Last year, IDC projected that there would be 29.5 million mobile phone subscribers in South Korea by the end of this year, a total that would grow to 30.6 million by the end of 2005.

Oops....they have 32.4 million subs right now. Sub growth has slowed down considerably but I still think another 200,000 a month is not unrealistic.

In 2002, A.T. Kearney and the Judge Institute of Management Studies reported that 39% of mobile phone owners in Asia had Internet-enabled phones. In Korea, only 6% of those people with Net-enabled phones had actually gone online at some point with their mobile phones. [This compares to 83% in Japan, 40% in the US, 37% in Hong Kong, 30% in UK: see chart at link].

Oops again.

I dont know what the exact number is....but a 6% rate doesnt really make sense.
