You miss the point. The Afghans are feeling abandoned. We are not helping to rebuild the infrastructure and society as advertised. Sure, we still have troops there, but that has no long term effect if we are not helping them to rebuild. Once we tire of chasing bad guys and pull out, it will go right back to what it was. They are warning us of that fact right now. Not only have we not solved every problem, we aren't even trying. Smart bombs and dumb policy. Hope we have a longer attention span in Iraq.
