RE: "Why are you posting political stuff on a thread we've asked to remain politics free?"

I was responding to a post which concluded that the investment situation is a "no brainer" because of "political stuff." In this context, my post is "investment stuff", not "political stuff."

HI Kirk,

I'll take credit for initiating this dialogue.I didn't intend to start a political discussion.

That being said it does seem Geopolitical events are definitely driving prices.

It seeme strange to want to go back to earnings driven valuations in the middle of an anemic recovery from a recession.gg

I do think this revovery has been putoff at least 2 years by the cloud of terrorism and geopolitical events.

It may well have been a favor or at least a change of focus, cause earnings have lord knows been negative to poor.

Certainly the recovery from the huge bubble we all enjoyed in 2000 has taken time to be absorbed.

I need to copy Donahues comments about the future in the Cohu Annual Book.

It is wonderfully straight forward and realistically optimistic.

So I'll try not to make political statements to others that I know would respond with another well thought perspective.

My fault.

Don't blame Cary

Bob
