"pilotonline" is your source of information on international affairs? Way to go, techplayer guy! :-)

Do you have anything to add to the course of events I wrote in the post you replied to?

On 1 March, Turkish parliament voted on the bill to let US use its air & land. It was rejected by a small majority, although the US had offered a total of USD 30 bn in loans and grants. Then on 19 March, Turkish parliament passed a new bill allowing only the use of air space and the use of US bases on its soil for humanitarian aid & wounded soldiers

You must have forgotten to comment on that.

Let's get my facts straight, hmm? That will be fun. Let's do just that.

I have a pretty significant Turkish t-bill placement and hence follow their news on a daily basis. I am also pretty fluent in Turkish, about the same level as my French. So if you wish to teach me "facts", I think I will very much enjoy watching you try :-)
