That's of course an excellent and appropriate move at this point.

It is important for all of us to read not just views that support our own position, but to read even those that perhaps inflame our personal sensibilities. It leads to a more balanced view of events. There's a interesting site linked off MSNBC called (ooooh, I hate this cuteness) "World Reax". It has briefs from "contributors around the globe", and from different political and cultural biases (to some degree at least).

This, for example, is something that some opponents have feared:

Indians say Pakistan warrants “pre-emptive strike”
Many fear that regional powers will exploit the U.S.-led attack on Iraq by using it as a pretext to attack neighboring enemies. The United States recently cautioned New Delhi after India’s Foreign Minister discussed waging a “pre-emptive strike” against Pakistan. Brahma Chellaney, a security expert at the Center for Policy Research in New Delhi, says that most Indians believe that that the “Bush team has double standards toward Iraq and Pakistan. Pakistan already has nuclear weapons, is the country of al-Qaida, and there is as much of a dictatorship in Pakistan as in Iraq.” Chellaney says, “The United States has a cozy relationship with Pakistan, and [Pakistani President] Musharraf’s dictatorship is being oiled with American money, while Baghdad has become a target of military intervention.”
