of course I have sympathy for US soldiers wounded or kia. Its just that they were well armed, and the enemy was not. The US soldiers had the advantage. The iraqis had nothing, and I suspect were just fighting for their country and not Saddam. Like any one of us would do if, say the former USSR invaded, even if we had a brutal dictator for a leader.

I was not even a peacenik forever wrt Iraq. I was in favor of removing WMDs. I don't think Bush can handle the job of key negotiator of the worlds one remaining superpower (he pissed way too many people off during this mess) and I don't like the way this adminstration lied to the world about WMDs.

All you conservatives were so angered when Clinton lied about sex. But you don't mind that Bush lies about another sovereign country maintaining weapons. Its amazing, really. Lives were lost over this.
