I didn't say that at all. Go back and read it.

If X taught the things that she posts on SI, I would certainly have a problem with it and I would lodge a complaint. What X does in her private life is not the business of her Employer, whether it is in the papers or not.

You don't KNOW what happens in my classroom. Your suspicions are based on what I say as an anonymous adult to other adults, about my personal views- not about my classroom or what I do in it. You merely infer that because I have opinions I am sharing them everywhere, with everyone. I would never make such a bizarre inference about people. I assume the reverse, actually, since many people here have jobs, and I have to believe they do not talk the way at their jobs that they do here- if they did, they would no longer have jobs.

I am very careful not to threaten my students religious or political views- not that that is ANY of your business. I like to hear all points of view in my classroom, but I do insist that we treat each other respectfully, and never attack individuals simply because we do not like their ideas. You would not be welcome in my classroom, not because of your views, but because you are utterly unable to be respectful of other people's views. I would send you to the principal.
