I'm not trying to hide my feelings on the matter. I don't think israel is worth the damage they have done to US foreign relations in the middle east. I also think, based on my own experience of working in an israeli startup company last year, that citizens of israel have been fighting with arabs for so long, that they tend to house certain predjudicial views towards arabs of all stripes that make the american view of race-based discrimination seem like childs play. That was my observation anyway, based on the 100 or so israelis that I worked with closely. Their anger towards arabs was so intense and deep, you couldn't believe it. The israelis I know were in favor of the war on iraq because they want the US to occupy iraq. Not the right reason to be in favor of the war, imo.
