victor, i don't know the guy's life story after having a 2 minute discussion with him, but you are wrong to attack his credibility.

i can tell you from my own family's experience. my parents were palestinian refugees as children. they lost their homes and belongings, became poor and lived right in the heart of all the drama. but they each got college scholarships, met at school and got married. my dad got his residency in america so they moved here, stayed and raised children. most of the rest of their large families remain in palestine.

this iraqi doctor had a similar story as my folks -- poor, studied hard, went to college, is now doing his residency in america. i can guarantee you that my parents were "connected to the poor oppressed people" of palestine for a long time after coming to america, so i find it pretty easy to believe that this iraqi guy has a credible opinion (though again, only one man's opinion).

oh, and the "health spa" is in fact the YMCA.
