<<No country became a 13 trillion Dollar economy being good to anyone>>

I disagree w. your premise there. No proof, but I'm still idealistic enough to believe that the incredible wealth America was born to, natural resources, strong constitutional principles, military isolation, provided a natural growth for a world power, and still does.

The strength and growth, imo, would be even greater than it is if the US policies were benevolent.

Imagine the many trillions in belligerent DOD dollars spent instead on something as simple as a continuing Marshall Plan for the remaining undeveloped countries of the world. The rewards for assisting emerging economies is enormous synergy, not just financial, but cultural and geopolitical. A free and unthreatened people would not have accepted, for example, a USSR.

I believe neither would they accept a Saddham or OBL. These dictators would not have gained prominence nor stayed in power without the overt and covert billions in lethal aid from US hawks and chickenhawk profiteers over the decades.

The greatest wealth will be created from coexistence of peaceful democratic nations not created from hastily-manufactured warfare, but inspired by open and transparent democracy and extended diplomacy. Obviously, we have neither transparent democracy, nor do our political profiteers have any concern for diplomacy.
