Whether you're Bush, Mother Teresa, Susan Sarandon or Hitler, thinking you're right doesn't make you right.

Now I'll compare another president to a Nazi:

Degree of fervor among Nazis didn't correlate to degree of rightness. Same is true of other believers in other things, including the President of France.

Here's the entire point: Believing fervently that you're right isn't proof you are. The Nazis proved that, in case you need proof. More than conviction is required.
