I am amazed how well our liberation of the Iraqis is going. It transcends my expectations. I am very curious how the anti-liberation people will handle this incongruent information. Specifically, I hope Zonder will relate what the french press is reporting. I have quoted cho's comment about all the, "Viva la france" signs that we are seeing. Cho--please write your gem up for a letter to Time or Newsweek or I'll plagiarize it.

Now real work begins.

1) Prevent massacre of Baathies.
2) Bring Saddam and other leaders to justice.
3) Develop a nonrepressive and representational government. (I would immediately change currency in this process and make people turn their old currency in and smoke some crooks out)
4) Develop a good secular education system.
5) Invest in developing businesses and agriculture.
6) Develop international alliances, especially with thre US and UK.

Hopefully, Iraq can be a model for other Arab countries. Certainly, the path that it seems to be on now is not the path that bin Laden envisioned.

An Al Jazeera reporter was interviewed by Larry King, and essentially she talked about the shock in the Arab world at the reception the allies are getting. She did say that the celebrations were being broadcast.

Saddam's government was the prototype for other Arab regimes, tho more extreme. Every Arab, and their leaders, are aware of the implications of our liberation.
