Re: Gustave, you should take more pride in your culture and less pride in hating other cultures. Being jealous of the achievements of other races and cultures does not make you an important or worthwhile person. If anything, it makes you look cheap and envious. Bob, please tell me why "hatred", "pride" and "jealous" are the mantras of the American psyche? I can tell you that the French, for instance, don't refer to them so often as you Americans do... "Haine", "fierté" and "jalousie" don't fit in our cultural/political vocabulary. Besides, as an Anarchist, I'm prone to view the social fabric through the prism of "class warfare", a rather alien, color-blind notion for most Americans, to be sure. As for the "race" thing, well that's a highly touchy notion... we prefer to talk about "tension/différence ethnique". A prominent French geneticist, Pr Albert Jacquard (), claims that there's only ONE human race and that two white individuals can display more genetical differences between them than any one of them with a black person, for instance...
