Do you really think Bush will get the Nobel Peace Prize for pre-emptively starting a war? Do you understand the basis for the peace prize? I think I do. I understand that of late, only weak liberals (e.g., Carter) can qualify. However, it is important to note that the first Nobel Prize for Peace was given for humanitarian work. I suppose we'll have to wait and see, but I don't expect we'll be seeing any greater humanitarian accomplishment than the liberation of Iraq. I won't hold my breath, though. Politics rears its ugly head everywhere.
