<<The United States has written an exceptional page of military history in Iraq, but it can be undone by suicidal political blunders in the region in the very near future. It's time to bring down the other terror masters>>

Paul,

I guess our interpretations are different on this one. If the sentence above did not include the word "military" maybe I could see your point of view. The inclusion of this word leads me to believe he advocates the same use of "military" force against the other "terror masters".
This doesn't surprise me as it's basically an endorsement of what the Bush doctrine states.

Like I said, the part that struck me most from the piece was the revelation of what seems to be a large rift between the State and Defense depts. It seems obvious to me who's got the President's ear at this point!

MON.

Ledeen is one of my intellectual heroes.

Agreed. He writes to bluntly for some. We have to get rid of the Iranian Mullahs and stop Iran from getting a Nuke. This will also stop the support of terrorists by them.

We hope we can do this Diplomatically, and that the Iranians will do it for themselves. Ladeen points out that it has to be done no matter what. This is too tough for some to stomach. But we have the example of NK facing us. We just cannot allow the proliferation of Nukes.
