Maybe we are being tested in the last days shalom. I have felt tested myself. My life has moved away from the Lord in action but not in thought. I think about Him every day, but do nothing more than think. Since faith unexercised is dead I have let that faith diminish. But I know it's me, not Him, who moved away. But that's my story, not yours. I am only saying that to say this. That just in the last week I was able to reach out in a very small way again like I used to and know Him again. Like after being in a desert getting a drop of water. I was able to clear my mind and let my spirit reach out and I visualized Him sitting on His throne right now, alive, and He knew me and I felt His presence in me for a short time. very emotional. "Times of refreshing". It had been a long time. I need to get back. Reading your post I felt your despair and would like to talk to you more.
