It's a pity we don't have BILOW posting on FADG at the moment. His views re Iraq got him into some bother (as they were incorrect) but his knowledge of military things was very good. He has posted the stuff on combat effectiveness on SI somewhere, including males vs females willingness to kill the enemy. This link came up on google. idf.il My general point is technology and equality of the sexes is a very hard system to beat in a military organization.
