Has anyone made money long stocks the last few years? Disconnects can occur between stock prices and fundamentals during certain periods of time, but the two always converge over the long term. As long as Matrixx continues to grow sales and earnings, I will hold the stock because I know that the stock price will eventually move up. If you want to negatively characterize that as being "married" to MTXX so be it. There are plenty of companies that I wish that I'd been "married" to when they were small because they eventually grew into large companies. Their stock prices did very well over a long period of time even though there were periods when they didn't do very well.
