As Army battle tanks from the 3rd Infantry Division were making the first main thrust into Baghdad last weekend, U.S. soldiers captured a senior Republican Guard commander who blundered into their advancing column.

This is the all powerful army that you are so proud of the US Army defeating? I bet you get excited when you step on ants. <g>

Good article. BTW, Ralph Peters, who was mentioned in the article, has a daily commentary in New York Post, and IMO, his commentary proved to be the most accurate of all the ex / armchair generals.

BTW, there is a lot of rewriting of history by the ex-generals / talking heads whose analysis was below par, especially on CNN.

BTW, where is Peter Arnett with his "analysis"? I think he disgraced himself, beyond repair this time.
