tejek, re:If al Jazeera was as bad as they say on this thread, then its too bad. al Jazeera is based in Qatar and supposedly is the only free Arab media outlet. I've seen a few interviews with the owner/editor of Al Jazeera and he comes off much like the Saudi public relations guy appearing on USA TV networks. (name escapes me right now) Anyway, his comments appear reasonable and rational, the kind of guy you could negotiate with. On the other hand when you hear what they are reported to have said in their language it's like another person. I'm glad they're on the air and independent.
