Then I am not sure what is the difference bet. "a potion that will stop it from continuing when someone has it" and "people get over it"? What I want to say is that SARS is completely dif. from AIDS. AIDS, up to now, when someone gets it, the best available medicine can only control the illness, but can never get rid of it. Means if an AIDS patient stops taking the medicine, then his condition will get worse. But those recovered SARS patients, they do not need any more medical attention, no more medication, after they recovered. in other words, they are complete healthy again.
