<< Nobody has answered my question. When do the job losses stop? >>

Nobody can answer this question with certainty. I already gave you my guess. Based on the incredibly unsustainable bubble that took place in the late 90s and the incredible miss-allocation of assets in the financial markets and the incredible overcapacity built into our economy - I'd guess that we have at least another 5 years before solid job growth resumes.

There's also the fact that there are a large number of emerging markets out there. China has billions of people that are happy working for $5 a week. It's difficult for American labor to compete with this. This fact will increase the chances of deflation and continued job losses.

None of this has anything to do with W of course.
