I had a Japanese buddy, who, when he could afford one, hired a Jewish Gardener.

lol, It's a start , yes, I remember smarting from the irony when the Saudi owned War Emblem won the 2001 Kentucky Derby. That one sure hit home, last year the owner Prince Ahmed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, died of a heart attack at age 43.

can’t say I know what democracy means to the Iraqi’s, could well be that it is something quite different to what most of us see when we push it through a western/US prism. These people have been dominated for the last 25 years or so and I should think that it’s more of this than anything, that the Iraqi’s want to avoid. Without a significant measure of Iraqi self determination thrown in, this war will be a pyrrhic victory. The other side of this is what the US does to reign in International cooperation from this point on. I see democracy as an evolving paradigm, something that can take many different forms but by necessity it must be preceded by Liberty and whatever the US does there, the democratic ideals of equality, freedom and dignity, as well as human rights and social justice must remain high on the political agenda. This is the only way we can meet at a place where us = them. It is a mickey mouse freedom when your country is being remote controlled.

Here are two stories on “what’s next” that I picked up from agonist.org
