Let's remember Bush Sr. should have taken out Saddam 12 years ago. There is still no compelling argument for why it wasn't done, and why we left the Iraqi resistance to be slaghtered. We blame Saddam for massacring his internal enemies but we could have and should have stopped it. We had a huge army right there and the troops were plenty pissed off they weren't allowed to finish the job.
