re:CNN is also a Cable News Network, and most of the time is spent on interviews and commentary.

The 30 minute loop is a neat feature, but when they have all the live stuff blended in during a War it gets hypnotic and mind numbing to watch. You dare not get up as something may happen, but it's just the same news over and over again - until this "breaking news" thing and then it loops again and again and again.

I try to break away and watch a show, but flip back during the commercials and get sucked in for another hour of repeats.

PS: It's my own fault, I'm a news junkie. I'll see if I can watch a news report on 12 step programs tonight. <g>
