It's probably that propaganda class I took years ago....Dissected every major newspaper in the country, plus our local one, every single day in class. Same articles, but MUCH different slants.

Also, in those years, reporters actually took care to not have their opinions show, unless it was a column on the op-ed page. That was where the bi-lines were to be as well ...NO names were to be on articles on those front pages.

Now, everyone is ego driven, so you will seldom see today an article without a name on it, which means it is that person's OPINION, NOT necessarily the real truth.

Try it some day...Look at the same stories on the front pages of at least 3 newspapers. Take out ALL adjectives and adverbs for a start. Note if there is a name on the piece. Now compare the stories.

You will see soon what I am talking about.
