I don't see it as us vs. them. I think the radical left
does.

As for vindictive labels, well, spurious allegations &
vindictive labels are common in their frequent personal
attacks. They regularly attack the messenger with
vindictive labels rather than debate the message. They use
the politics of personal destruction freely. They
relentlessly lie & distort, plus they don't care about
facts, reason or logic in espousing their POV. Revisionist
history is all too common too.

I don't consider accurate descriptions as vindictive
labels. I don't appreciate vindictive labels being used as
a means of rebuttal.

The radical left needs to learn some hard lessons in civil
behavior. When they learn to respect others with differing
POV's & discuss their differences openly & honestly, they
will find that most folks will treat them with respect in
return.

And no, I don't begrudge them their right to express their
POV at all. My problem is their means, motives, tactics &
objectives.

I can post a number of excellent examples to support any of
the above if you like.

"As killer viruses go, SARS is destined to be another also-ran. Fifty-eight deaths, at the time of writing, from a virus first breaking sometime last November across a continent of some 2 billion people is a long way from apocalypse. Most experts are taking the view that SARS is not infectious or virulent enough to cause global catastrophe and should not be getting in the way of most people's lives."

Along the lines of what I said before...whole article is here:
