Dave, thank you for your reply. As you know, I don't accept your point of view concerning the war. In my opinion, war is abhorrent (however "humanely" it is conducted) and especially war which is waged, not in self-defence, but in the advancement of a fantasy or ideology, as this one clearly is (at least, to me). informationclearinghouse.info While I accept that most Americans support your argument, I just wanted you to see, for what it was worth, that there are others in this world, in fact unquestioned allies of the US, who don't. Let me also say that my position is not a comfortable one. It would be far easier and definitely more pleasant for me to go along with the "the big boy on the street" (especially when I love his music so much!) but I simply find that I can't.
