I don't care Jorj. (about a seaport). I don't believe Israel asked for that oil pipeline because they were concerned about poor starving iraqis.

I think israel has bullied itself into a position in the ME sortof similar in a way to what Bush did to himself at the UN. Israel can't or won't negotiate with arabs (despite deciding to locate in the middle of the region), they have made some very aggressive military and social moves to illegally occupy palestinian settlements etc.

The reason Israel is so quick to bring up this oil pipeline is because they want to strongarm the US into setting it up again while the US is still in power in iraq (and israel knows it is a short window), they know they can't get it from any arab power.

Thats the problem with the world, you've got to get along with your neighbors you know? Or move.
