How about the 150 Iraqi kids that were in a Saddam prison.

Is a 100, 200, 300 .. ? innocent Iraqi lives (collateral damage) worth one Saddam life, that people here think is worth nothing and I wholeheartedly agree....
Point taken. But how would suggest Saddam should have been stopped?

If we had gone into Iraq in the '80s, would we not have gotten the same complaints that we get now about "unilateral action"? And if not, why not? If it's wrong now, then it would have been wrong then.

coug, this war is the completion of Gulf War I. It was, gawd knows why, left imcomplete with SH still in power. GB 41 screwed up big time on that one. Now we straighten it out.

Personally, I think most of the Iraqis will prove to be decent people who want to live a decent, peaceful life given the chance. Now they will get that chance.

RE:BECAUSE I VALUE ONE INNOCENT IRAQI CHILD with his/her arms blown OFF MORE than Saddam's WHOLE DAMN life.

What about all the Iraqis(including women and children) we have saved from torture, maiming and death in the future by removing Saddam's regime? You don't care about them? Were you posting how sad you felt about them during Saddam's reign? Please show me.
Who has been responsible for most Arab deaths in the last twenty years? SADDAM AND HIS REGIME, we (the coalition) haven't even come close.

Let me ask you a question: Would the 150 child prisoners still be rotting in prison if we were still on the path of "containment?"

All the campaigning in the world did not save one family from losing their loved one to the brutality of rape, torture and murder under the dictatorship of SH.

After 12 years of UN impotence, it took the US to finally do the right thing and end the madness. We aren't through yet, but we've made a start.

I know you mean well, but the 100s of thousands who have died because of this menace wish you hadn't been so kind.

M

If that were true you would be first in line supporting the removal of SH regardless of how it were done.

BECAUSE I VALUE ONE INNOCENT IRAQI CHILD with his/her arms blown OFF MORE than Saddam's WHOLE DAMN life..

And where were you, and the rest of humanity, when this little girl needed you? (it's not necessary to reiterate what you said in your post)

This is the real world auntie....removing Saddam and his murderous crew will save many more lives than it costs....make the world a better and safer place....and maybe...if we are lucky........start to remake the map in the ME.

Your typically pinhead (and inaccurate) pronouncements about "unholy bombardments" not withstanding, the fact is what you ought to reflect on is your utter disregard for the suffering of the Iraqi people and their children.
