You are correct...that was my point. This is first time in generations (if ever) that the US can be labeled imperialist. The Spanish American War was fraudulently claimed to be caused by the sinking of the Maine. So for most of recent history that wasn't considered imperialism. The only other case other than this one is possibly Panama......What validated our invasion of Panama?? But if one can read a dictionary, we are now an imperialst nation because of Iraq.....live with it...
