Unbelievable. They actually presented the 8 years of Clinton appeasement with Wm Perry, Madeleine (See no evil) Albright and Slick getting lied to and hoodwinked by the North Koreans as The Right Way to Deal with Unstable People, and put Perle, Bush and the current group forward, the guys who called the North Koreans on 8 years of lying about nuclear arms, as somehow the aggressors. Unbelievable. You have pictures of Madeline telling Kim Jong-il how pleased she is to meet him, getting delighted by a stadium full of card turners and flag wavers (it looked like something from the Red Guard days in China, only much much better) all the while this emaciated, impoverished nation of 20 million is eating the bark off trees and starving to death. And the PBS interviewer could not have been more slanted: he wasn't interviewing, he was presenting a brief. When the US said it was not going to continue to do its part of the Clinton agreement in view of the North Koreans' admission that, yes, they had been lying for 9 years and, yes, they were developing nuclear devices, and, yes, they wouldn't hestitate to use them--the %$#ing interviewer says to the current US ambassador to South Korea (I think that's who it was): "Those are pretty strong words this government is using, aren't they?" And the still photos of Perle and Bush (I don't remember them using stills of Clinton and Madeline) were selected to show either wild hair and a glare (Perle) or a fierce canine mouth and aggression (Bush). Put PBS right up there with Babs, Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin, products of France and Jeannine Garofalo at the top of the boycott list. Kb
