US, EU, Japan now SE Asia and China. Only LatAm remains safe to do business.

Guys you have not paid due attention to me mentioning the type of "sickness" Brazil got. The guys was supposed to default and sent Brazil's risk way down. 24.4% spread above the US which is considered Zero risk. Currency devalued by 43%.

Now it is recovering and the IMF is telling the leftist man is an example to be followed by other countries.

You know this sickness is only bullshit just to give case to loot!

Hello KJC, I just spontaneously went over to my next door neighbor's with a few cans of beer and held happy hour on their 250 sft ocean view porch. The guy is a retired telecom (ITT type telecom, as opposed to the New Ec variety) executive who up until recently still did some consulting gigs.

He now has stopped shaving, hangs out at the golf course daily, cruises the internet, and frets over his portfolio.

The happy hour was fun, over cheese and crackers, and we had to laugh about SARS, for that is the only thing we can do.

He and I both have cancelled out Easter vacation trips (Malaysia/Thailand, respectively). We are wondering how long the HK domestic small businesses can hold out, holding their collective breath.

There are 61 new cases today, increasing from yesterdays 41, and the day before, around 20. We are going through the second wave of infections.

Chugs, Jay
