All this guy cared about was keeping his office open in Baghdad.

Thats what he gets paid to do, Bill. Welcome Capitalism, and sometimes pay the price, long as the check comes in.

No, LB...with a story like this, I think it probable that he did talk to either the CIA or others in the government... But remember also, that Woolsey couldn't even get an appointment with Clinton for 6 months!!! Would anyone listen until the last couple of years, or until after 9-11?

Maybe Easton Jordan will have a tell all book as well...one that will include other companies who tried to do business with Saddam in the last 15 years....

It is hard to imagine that the head of a news service would have to withold that type of information, because he didn't want any of his native staff or imported staff as well, killed by Saddam's men.

Maybe we should print this article, and drop it all over France and some of the others in Europe....

Who knows what he cared about. He actually says he cared about the lives of his employees and their families. He also claimed to have told the Jordan King when he learned about attempts on his life.
