Even a cursory examination of the facts show that Congress represents no one but themselves and lobbyists. With very few exceptions voters get a chance to vote only for pre-selected candidates, so whoever wins is already compromised.

Ron Paul and Paul Wellstone were of the few exceptions not of the "cash and carry" variety.
