That is precisely why it's effective.

This is it. The Left seems to believe that "just rhetoric" is adequate. That's why we get the Jimmy Carters of the world totally screwing up foreign policy (by the way, where IS Carter?).

Bush has shown that we are NOT "just rhetoric". Syria, Iran, and NK no doubt have taken note of this fact.

They (the Left) have clearly forgotten the way Reagan handled Libya and results of that action...
