I have a few things to say here: (1) Khoei's attempt to "reconcile" all sides by bringing Saddam's minister of religion into the mosque was beyond stupid. It qualifies him for a Darwin Award. (2) From the description of events that I have read, and from the fact that Kadar got away, I find it more than likely that during the fight (which by the way started between Kadar (NOT Khoei) and SCIRI supporters, Kadar's side pulled a gun and Khoei got in the middle of the melee. (3) There is so much pressure and anger pent up over there, that we will not be able to put in someone who is seen pro-America in power by any stretch of imagination. But we can put in someone who is neutral and pro-Iraq. ST
