Exactly. You know, I was flipping channels late last night and ran across thousands of young men, former forced soldiers, in Iraq walking back home after they were deserted by their officers. Or something like that.

Anyway the CNN announcer was gushing about how 'Our job now was to find these men employment so they could put their ives back in order.' SAY WHAT? WE can barely find new jobs for young men here in the US right now. And if by some magic, what we can't do here, we're going to have success doing there?

Then he gushed on about building some schools and infrastructure. While schools here in the US suffer from underfunding, 1993 dated technology teaching aids, staff salaries 50% below similarly educated professions. You've got to be kidding! Who laps this dream up?
