Some observations on the war and its coverage.
First I thought from day 1 that the war would last about a month. The talk of a poor plan and then vindication of the plan reminded me of the ncaa basketball tournament. This war was a 1 seed against a sixteen seed. no sixteen seed has ever won and didn't this time. The fact we had such success is a testament that our troops played up to their potential.

How does anyone think that Fox news has any credibility at this point. Almost every day they have screamed headlines about having found wmds, only to find out latter that it was a false alarm. Talk about propaganda they are comparable to al jezeera in the extent of their bias.

Rebuilding Iraq may be a big job. Haven't heard anywhere any intelligent discussion about how it will happen. In destroying the regime we have also destroyed all order. There are no experienced officials over there who were not part of the inner circle.

Why isn't the market celebrating?
