I dont own a SUV nor do I use air-conditioning. I use only what energy I need and no more. If we all did this we wouldn't need oil from ANWR and with a big push to develop hydrogen we could get off our addiction to Arab oil as well.

John Kerry will push for this at ten times the speed as Bush, who basically throws hydrogen research a small crumb (230 million a year) and uses this as political cover to be able to claim he's for cleaner fuels. In fact, Bushies have fought clean fuels, conservation and fuel efficiency tooth and nail and dont want anyone with an environmental bone in their body anywhere near energy policy. That's for the Big Boys in Big Oil. Bushies and Big Oil are joined at the hoip and Big Oil can count on Bushies to back up any lie they tel the American people. We saw that during the phony energy crisis of 2000-2001 and during the ANWR debate. It continues - just tank God for moderate Republicans who know what a huge giveaway to special interests and polluters the Bush energy plan would be.
