A curcory search on one of the names in that link, Floyd Kvamme (partner at Kleiner Perkins), shows he is the chairman of Empower America.

Well, that name alone is suspiciously wholesome for a lobby group. A quick check on Empower America reveals all one needs to know. It is run by a roster of apologists for American war crimes (Bill Bennett, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Jack Kemp, etc.), and puts out the usual litany of Neocon lies.

Good job finding that -- extremely important to keep these fascist-trend-watch sites available.

It's incredible to see the immediate pervasion of, as another example, networksolutions.com, when it became clear in '92 what power of the 'net was residing in the DNS, i.e., you get every webpage lookup at one time or another, and know who/what/when/where.

Then, of course, the directors and owners of network solutions had deep ties to NSA and other spooks. I was told this by a director at SAIC in Washington, where I worked on a NSF project, that it was a mandate to "control" the internet. That was not the least surprising at the time.

The only solution is constant full disclosure.
I'll read Google Watch, thanks.
