The Dutch are very mellow - the government is kind of in favor, most people opposed, weekly demonstrations but more of a party than anything serious. Being here is a good reminder that there is much more to the world than Iraq. The G8 summit in June in France should be very entertaining; we'll see how the US fares when they try to ram an agenda down the throat of major world powers that we have called stupid, cowardly and ignorant for months. Those countries aren't cowering in front of us. They also aren't amused. My bet is the US agenda won't prevail, not the way the dreamers believe it can. Reality is very different outside the Beltway.
