IMO, it would be more frightening if WMDs are not found. Because, it would mean that Saddam probably shipped them out somewhere, before the war (just as much of his airforce fled to Iran during the first Gulf War). Remember, inspectors couldn't even find the WMDs that the Iraqi government admitted having, before the inspectors were kicked out the last time.
